The Taurus 92 is a 9mm drop hammer forged, ordnance-grade alloyed frame, semi auto pistol. The 92 has a three-position, frame-mounted ambidextrous safety that is more secure than a slide mounted safety. This handgun has 17+1 capacity, a Picatinny rail, and a DA decocking lever.
